Besides school and working on other projects such as practical energy research, social network developments and many others; I am currently working on a low cost, clean and sustainable food production system that does not use pesticides It is a closed system is that is soilless, organic and is very water efficient.
In addition, the system will also grow fishes, shrimps, mussels and other variety of fresh water aquatic foods in a very small footprint. The technology is based on the aquaponics system which is a combination of hydroponics (growing plants in a liquid medium) and aquaculture (fish farming) concept.
Hydroponics and Aquaculture are effective food production technologies, but by itself are also very dirty in terms of the toxic wastes pollutions that are produced.
